IWCF is working very closely with the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) to prepare every employee working in the oil and gas field with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Furthermore, IWCF offers two certified programs: Drilling Well Control and Well Intervention Pressure Control that are divided into four levels.
According to IWCF website, Drilling Well Control program suits people who are working in the crucial well control and drilling. Through its four levels, you will get the wanted knowledge to excel in drilling well control. By being certified, you will increase your chance to get a career in the oil and gas field.

It is the first free e-learning course for everyone enrolled in the field. Also, it covers seven modules; Overview of Oil and Gas, Life Cycle of a Well, Drilling Rigs, Well Control During Drilling Operations, Well Intervention and Workover, Pressure Control During Well Intervention, and conclusion. You should pass 70% or more and complete the course for Four hours to get the certification which is valid forever.
Level two of Introductory Drilling Well Control provides you with the basic understanding of drilling features and fundamentals. Moreover, this level suits who are currently working in the well detecting or creation. In order to get certified, you should complete a course with a passing score of 70% or more. Then, you should register with IWCF. If passed, you can choose between Combined (Surface & Subsea) or “Surface Only” BOP Stack certification which will be valid for 5 years.
