The Dental Admission Test (DAT) is an admission test used to enroll in dental schools in the United States, including Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands in addition to Canada. DAT is designed by the American Dental Association to assess students’ potentials in terms of their academic background, comprehension of scientific information, and perceptual ability. Moreover, DAT results are one evaluation factor of student’s application when registering to dental school.

Dental Admission Test Details
Test Details: the test is multiple choice and is available year-round. Also, it consists of four tests as the following:
- Survey of the Natural Sciences
- Perceptual Ability
- Reading Comprehension
- Quantitative Reasoning
Test Location: you should schedule your DAT test before 60-90 days before your desired date. In addition, you can take the test at Prometric test centers.
Test Duration: the total duration of the test is 5 hours, including 30-minute break and 15-minute post-test survey.
